Our Story

Traditional Trades was founded in 1998 and has evolved from a cooperative to a corporation under owner Paul Mouré. Paul maintains an old-school approach, prioritizing accessibility, respect, and strong relationships with clients, employees, and partners.

We are a team of more than 20 employees with over 200 years of combined masonry experience. We specialize in residential masonry and heritage restoration. Our company works with respected builders and architects and has contributed to notable projects, including the restoration of the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal with Parks Canada.

Traditional Trades is committed to mentorship and preserving the masonry trade by passing on knowledge from experienced masons through apprenticeship programs.
